My Experience on Opening Night

I had the chance to attend opening night, and it was a holiday treat from start to finish! The Grinch theme was absolutely spot-on, transforming the space into a cozy, playful world with touches of Mt. Crumpit and Whoville. From the moment I walked in, the festive Whoville atmosphere made it known that Christmas was just around the corner.

The food and drinks were just as delightful as the decor. We started with the Mistletoe Mule, a refreshing holiday twist on the classic cocktail. We also tried the Wallow in Self Pity Punch, which did not disappoint! Served in a color-changing, light-up glass that you get to keep, this punch was as fun as it was flavorful. And for a perfect holiday dessert, the Tiny Heart Cakes—Pancake Pantry’s famous red velvet pancakes topped with a caramelized brulee meringue—were a highlight. The kind staff made it a truly memorable experience!

What’s on the Menu

The menu is filled with Grinch-inspired dishes and drinks, from the complimentary RoastBeast Sandwich and Max & Cheese to cocktails like the Clausmopolitan and the sparkling Truffulala Tree Bubbly, topped with glittering cotton candy. I’ve included a photo of the full menu here to see all the available creative options. Several of the cocktails can be made without alcohol.

If you’re looking for a fun way to get into the holiday spirit, Who’s Tavern at Pancake Pantry is the place to be. The food and drinks were delicious, and the whole experience was a reminder from the Grinch himself that “Christmas doesn’t come from a store. Maybe Christmas means a little bit more.” It’s the perfect spot to spend time with friends or family, and the kids will have a blast, too. Just be sure to check it out before it ends on December 28!
