Everything you love about the Bloomin’ Onion appetizer with zesty seasoning, bold flavor, and a crispy fried onion topping packed into a hot, irresistible dip.

This recipe went viral on TikTok (over 30,000 likes) within a day of posting, and for good reason. If you love the iconic Bloomin’ Onion from your favorite steakhouse but don’t always want to fry an entire onion, this Bloomin’ Onion dip is about to become your new go-to. It’s rich and loaded with flavor. The best part? You don’t have to fool with deep-frying or complicated steps and the crispy fried onions on top give you that signature crunch we all love.

How to Make Bloomin’ Onion Dip

This dip starts with a simple, creamy base: cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and plenty of Parmesan cheese. The Parmesan gives it that classic, salty bite that reminds you of the original hot onion dips we used to make years ago.

What makes this dip truly reminiscent of the steakhouse favorite is the seasoning blend. The seasonings and Worcestershire sauce bring that bold, zesty tang that makes you think “Bloomin’ Onion” even before the fried onions hit the top. Feel free to add a little prepared horseradish sauce if you want it extra zesty. It is pretty bold with the Worcestershire alone.

No Bloomin’ Onion experience is complete without the crunch. A generous handful of fried onions goes on top before baking, and they get even crispier in the oven, giving the dip the same taste and crunch you get from the famous appetizer.

Serving Suggestions

Serve Bloomin’ Onion Dip with chips, crackers, pork rinds, pita chips, or fresh veggies.

Storage Instructions

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through. If the fried onions lose their crunch, sprinkle a few extra on top before serving.

You can make Bloomin Onion Dip ahead of time for easy entertaining. Mix the base ingredients the day before and add the onion topping and bake just before serving.

If you love the flavors of the Bloomin’ Onion but don’t want to fry an entire onion, this hot dip is the answer. Its bold seasoning and crispy fried onion topping give every bite the taste and crunch of the appetizer you know and love. Let me know if you try it!
